Hi! I’m Mackenzie!
As a little girl, I was always walking around with my moms little digital camera, but it wasn’t until I was about 12 that I started to take photography seriously. I had started equestrian vaulting, and I thought it would be so cool to take photos at competitions. So I started learning photography and bought my first camera.
Fast forward a couple years, I’m now a sophomore in high school, and running the Media Day for our athletes. And this is all well and good, until the videographer we were working with couldn’t come to the other days. This meant that not only was I managing the event, but I also needed to be the videographer. I had only ever been a photographer, but as I started to learn more and more about videography, I fell in love with it.
